Hard to make tight turns - Rear Axle Solid?

When I am trying to turn going slow it feels as if the rear axle is locked and trying to make me go straight. I get a little push on the front end if you know what I am trying to say. I have checked the alignment and tire pressures and that is good. While this may be a good setup for the mud and trails it tears up my back yard and I can't pull my utility trailer with it.
Does the rear wheels/axle allow for tight turns or is it like a solid axle?

Thanks in advance for any support.

Yes, mine is the same and no Turf Mode on it. The Turf Mode is something IŽd realy like to have as I ride a lot on paved surface and locked rear differential doesn't help at all.
