Service & Upgrade - or Purchase New?

I just purchased a 2012 Sportsman 400 HO w/warn winch & plow. (Just used it to plow today & I LOVE IT!!) On the other hand, I also have a 2004 Sportsman 500 HO. (the 400 for the love of my life to use & the 500 for me)
I was entertaining two things. Should I upgrade & trade this 2004 Sportsman 500 HO for a 2012 Sportsman 800 EFI w/winch? OR, should I just add a winch to the 2004 that needs a full service on it? Note, the 2004hrs/miles a rediculously low.

Why fix whats not broken? Just my philosophy. But if you need the extra power and got the cash go for it.

I like spending other peoples money. I say trade it in, buy a new one. Keep the economy going.

I'm debating something similiar. I've got a 2006 450 and I'm wondering whether to just keep it or get something bigger. The 450 does everything i need and runs perfect but there is just something tempting about a shiny new 800...

Well, now I've gone & done it!!

Thought I'd go to dealer & check out the Sportsman 800 HO XP. BUT, I was not very excited with going up to a bigger Sportsman that was still GREEN. I would like it in Yellow but they had none & apparently couldn't get one? Since I had just purchased a Sportsman 400 HO in red, I wasn't really interested in 2 red ATV's.

After considerable haggling, I was directed to a 2012 Sportsman 550 XP EPS ORANGE MADNESS LE!!! WOW, did this unit ring my bells & blow my whistle! The dealer made me an offer too good to turn down. (I think that I had worn them out with my haggling.) I am so excited for my "new" ATV, I am having a hard time concentrating & sleeping. Delivery will be Tue. or Wed. next week.
