i have a 2006 sportsman 500 want to put 25x8x12 on front 25x10x12 rear stock is 26x8x12front 26x11x12 rear . what are the pros and cons to doing this? is it a big deal

Don't know why you would want to go down a size, unless maybe you got a killer deal on the tires. You may gain a little accelleration, lose a little top end and lose 1/2" of ground clearance. I kind of doubt it will make any seat of the pants difference.
