I have a 2010 sportsman 500 with 300 mi. I tried to start is a weak ago and got only a click. It was sitting for 30-60 days. I put a 2amp charge on it for an hour and it started to turn over, but the starter was very slow and sounded funny. I waited another hour only to find it getting worse. Has anyone else had a similar problem. the battery had 11.9 volts.

11.9 volts is a completely dead battery. At 2 amps per hour, it would take several hours to put a good charge on the battery,If it will take a charge at all.
needs a new battery, get a battery tender too that will make battery last longer especially if it sits out in the cold, get a agm battery they are better
