wow, admittedly i dont live in snow areas but the bikes 500 and 330 get used nearly every day for farm work. serviced every 100 hrs. I did replace the universal joints at xmas time. wouldnt have too if polaris had grease nipples in there uni joints, i replaced them with uni joints that have a grease nipple.

Damn my 06 450 has 968 hrs 8030 miles and I thought that was high. Ive been told by my dealer that he has like a early 2000 sportsman 500 come in for service with 3200 hrs on it and it still ran like a top. As long as you keep up with maintenance and dont abuse it I would say your quite a ways from needing a rebuild or upgrade.

I no when I bought my 800 touring there was an 01 500 sportsman that had 36000 miles. Yes 36 thousand miles and had almost 6 thousand hours at the dealer for sale for 500 bucks and it still ran good
