ok 2002 500 ho front end pinion seal and bearing need replacing i see there is a bushing or pilot bearing in the housing for the pinion / roller bearing /o-ring /seal . it looks like a roll pin on the driveshaft where the yolk slides on the pinion .will the shaft slide to the rear.or slide the diff forward or remove the whole thing ?

yes shaft slides back after roll pin removed then will come out right side, I would remove diff to fix it, only 4 bolts under neath and unhook wires

pulled the front housing today. put it on the lift took about an hour. pulled it apart pinion bearing wasted full of mud. looks like the side ring bearing/bushing one side is a sealed bearing?and the other side has a brass bushing/seal anybody ever crossed seals and bearings into easy to find part numbers.
