Hard steering 2000 sportsman. Any tips?

I have a thread in another forum but i figured i would start one here. So here it goes
2000 sportsman 500 1900 miles, just replace ball joints, tie rods, struts and greased everything in the front end and changed the hub fluid. I also spray lubed every moving part i seen that didnt have a grease fitting. I feel that the steering is still tougher than it should be. Its never been wrecked. My father has owned it since new. I put the bike on jacks to check the awd and the front hubs are not engaged. Also the alignment is good. Front tires have 8 psi in them are original and pretty worn, so im sure thats not helping me. Has anybody figured out any solution to the hard steering issue? Thanks for your help!

I think that the worn front tires are your problem. The more rubber touching the ground the more steering resistance. I'm in the same boat with my 01 and am overdue to change tires also. Choose your tires wisely & good luck.

X2 on the worn rubber. There is also a grease zerk under the headlight pod that is often overlooked. It's not fun to get to it, but it will help to grease it.
