new 2012 sportsman 500
Its been a while since I posted anything, but last monday we got a 2012 sportsman 500 off the show room floor. We haven't drove it yet due to MI having a screwed up winter and everything is mud rite now instead of being frozen. We got a winch and plow with the deal. Just out of curioustiy we couldn't find any problem with them but are any of you having any problems with yours?

We have .6 on ours we have only drove it around our yard. Our last one we put through its paces 2000 sportsman 500 still ran great the day we sold it, but this one we are mainly using for hunting and maintaining out rode to our cabin, and the occasional ride.

The 500 is about as bullet proof as any machine ever made! Probably the best atv Polaris has ever made.

Mine suffers from neglect because I can't ride it enough. And this Michigan winter sucks! I like the snow. Just being cold is pointless.

Just being cold and not snowing? Are you sure you don't live down here in Texas?

If I remember correct, where I live, we have gotten maybe 2 inches 3 times. Every time it melts in 48 hours. Even north where I have family and they get lots of snow, it has been nothing like it usually is. They called school off because it was cold and there could be ice, which means the faculty just want to use some snow days.
If this keeps up, maybe I will move. Economy here sucks, taxes are high and the roads are murderous on your cars. Only thing that keeps me here is family and we have all 4 seasons.

No problems here... just be sure to check the fliuds often. Mine was a little low on engine oil after running 30 miles.
