2005 800. Ebs or not?
Just picked up a set of clutches off a 05 800 sportsman. Retrofitting to a 00 sportsman.
Did that year have ebs or not? The drive pulley has a hilliard clutch but, doesn't have grooves like the one I'm replacing.
Also which belt do I need to run? The one from the 800 or 500? I would think the 500 as it would seem to me, that the 800 has a greater distance between the tranny and engine. Hence a longer belt.
I have looked up the belt lengths too, on both machines. There is about 1-1.25 inch difference in length between them.
