Looking for the best cover to store my new ATV outside

I'm about to buy my first ATV, a brand new 400HO. I'm going to have to store it outside, unfortunately. It'll be sitting on a trailer, at least. I need to get a legit cover to keep it safe in the rain and snow. I see some Polaris ones online, about $100. Does anyone know of any that are truely waterproof, and pretty tough - worthy of a brand new machine?

There's a lot online, some cheap, some expensive, some OEM, some generic...

Thanks

Don't know what's best; but I'll bet price has something to do with it. I would suggest you get something designed for trailering. That way it would be covered while traveling.
I used an open trailer for a few years for a Yamaha I had. Bad news in the winter and dirt roads.
I bought my new Xp 3 years ago and it's been in a covered trailer except for when it's ridden. Best "garage" I could have purchased.

I have a moose cover that I'm not even using anymore since I have an enclosed trailer now. It works great.

When I used it, it never leaked and was very durable, had it for 4 years now, and it is in great shape. Faded a bit from the sun but leak free.

Just make sure you lock and trailer ball and chain the quad to the trailer as a precaution. Had someone break into my shed once to get the quads out while I was out of town. Had the quads chained to a D-ring in the floor and it stopped them from getting them out. They took my gas cans but left the quads behind.

That moose cover looks perfect- thank you, all I was looking for was one solid review for any cover. What size did you get for your sportsman? Standard?

I have the Polaris trailerable cover. When the bike is transported, it's on the back of my truck so it's too awkward to install. My bike is also stored inside a warehouse where dust is a big issue. I don't know if this would be the greatest cover for outside storage though. It's a pretty tough fabric, but I bought it for fit not resistance to weather. I'd try to find something with a softer inner liner so that wind wouldn't chafe your ATVs finish.

I have the XL version for my old 850. Would need the XXL for the 850 touring, but she has a rolling garage now and doesn't have to sit outside anymore.

I just recieved my Moose Dura Cover in the mail today. It was not what I expected; I think I might have recieved the wrong cover, Moose's OZARK COVER, by accident. The Dura Cover is supposed to be grey, and pretty thick and very waterproof. But the Cover that I recieved is Black, pretty thin, and doesn't seem to be waterproof at all - fits the description of the Ozark Cover.

Does anyone else own a Dura Cover, can they clarify this for me? I've reached out to the company as well....

Mine is gray and fairly thick. I think it's the Dura Cover. I'll check it this weekend when I get back in town.
