back up starting

on a 2009 500 HO is thier no back up starting if the battery goes dead?

they did away with the recoil-rope starter. you could look on e-bay for a used one off of an older one if you like.

If your battery goes dead then the computer wont power up either or the fuel pump or injector...I believe the pull starts are for the carbed models. Although, it would come in handy if your starter died..

back up

i have a carb model and just thought that getting stranded without back-up woudnt be good

sorry, i wasn't aware that the 09's came carbed, mine is fuel injected..
