850 Team industries clutch kit??

Dirttrax TV did a two part session on a team industries clutch kit and they said it was well worth it.
I know some of you guys have changed pipes, filters, and added power commanders and you did mention the improvement in power.

Some mentioned belt slippage and poor shift out.

So does anyone know the part no. of the Team industries clutch kit?

Also does anyone have this kit on there 850? and how does it work?

do not look for a big change when running stock tires with some of these clutch kits out there today for the 850xp. why do you want one ? are you running bigger mud tires?

I will go slightly larger tires when I replace them. The main reason I am interested in this clutch kit, Dirt trax TV raved about how much of a difference it was compared to stock.

Also guy's that have put on some power adders have experienced clutch (belt)slippage.... so that tells me they are not setup that well from factory.

Also I heard the 2010 model runs a different helix than the 2009 model? Why?

Just looking for some good (proven) mods that will bring the power closer to my outlander.

i saw the dirt trax show. when these shows get free parts do you really think they will say something bad about them? when aj took half the dam rear end apart when you do not have to that tells me a lot about if he new what he was doing. the stock clutching of the 850xp is very good and is fine with 26" tires. i have had the 800outy and the gade and to make them run the same they need to weigh the same.

I agree about the show.... they will not talk bad about anything they get for free!
I notice that you run a Dalton clutch kit.
How did it improve performance? Or did it not help much?
I would like to run those 26" Bighorns also. How much bigger are they from stock height and width?
Any particular reason you are running SS212 wheels?

I've got the team industries clutch kit in my 09 850, but I also installed the 14% gear reduction also. I'm running 28" zilla's for my tires. No powercommander yet, stock exhaust, and my quad is now faster than it was with the stock tires. Totally hangs the front wheels in the air now, it sorta did before, but now like ease...oh yeah, quad still goes 70+mph. Clutch comes in 2200-2400rpm now..oh yeah, I'm using the high altitude kit only, no need for big tire kit with gear reduction...

I'm still trying to figure out why you would switch tires depending on riding conditions. My 28" zilla's work great on all surfaces....
