aaen 850 polaris

i dont know what to get the only 2 exhaust i can get is aaen for 460 or big gun full system for 620 what should i get i have a 2012 polaris sportsman 500 H.O if any one knows where there are deals or what i should get let me know thanks

IF YOUr buying just for looks, then whatever suits you. performance wise, your not gonna notice anything but the sound. Then you could look at the DIY thread about doing your own outlet, and it will increase flow as well. remember if any power is added, your stuck if yours is EFI and you'll have to monitor the plugs closely. unfortunately aftmkt exhaust is not a good bang for your dollar performance wise.IMO of course

I bought a Big Gun full exhaust for mine and re jetted it and there is a difference of power. I lined mine up against my wife's 2012 500 and let her do the count.....little cheater got the jump on me, but it wasn't long at all before I passed her and kept pulling away. Mind you it wasn't like I hit a NOS boost, but there is a difference.

So what did the power increase ? the jetting or the exhaust and was it a 700.00+ increase in power ? Not knockin it, I would like one too just because I don't like a rusty nasty ole pipe on the machine. Its not a race machine and single digit HP increases are only warranted in competition where it counts. Just My opinion of course. I found clutching had much more improvement in power to the ground and jetting.

I really don’t know what it sounds like on a 500, but I could not be happier the way it sounds on my 850..

Well, I ain't too sure if it was more the exhaust or the jetting, but it is faster. Now is it $760 CAD faster?.......all I know is that it was a blast to put it on after a pile of beers (wasn't exactly plug and play). And when I go to the staging area and off load my wife's not much attention....when I off load mine, definetly some heads turning and grinning. I'm very happy.
