Hid light kit 35w or 55w

How much brighter are the 55 watt kits with the 6000k bulbs over the 35 watt kit with the same bulbs, I'd do the swap if I could gain a little light.

I was thinking of the 35 watt 5000k for my xp only cuz I was worried about the heat generated from the 55 watt. I would love to go with the 55 watt if I knew it wouldnt create a heat problem in the headlamp housing.

I read a reply awhile ago on another site about a guy running the 55watt lights in his bumper lights and the guy said he's had no problems with them at all, I was going to PM the guy but I can't remember the site I found this info on.
When I find the info I'll post it.

I think I saw something about the same subject on this site quite awhile back. I'm hoping that somebody else has done this on their machine cuz I dont want to buy something that will cause problems later on down the road. BTW, what machine is yours?

I wud love the extra brightness, but with the extra light comes extra heat. Thats what I'm worried about.

I've heard that the kits are based on the bulb number (mine is 886) but cant seem too find exact kit that is plug and play that every one claims. Wud like to find something that I know wud work with my machine and no problems.

ddm tuning has some kits. the 880 bulb should work. You won't have any problems with the heat. If you have a 55w regular bulb, which you do, a 55w HID bulb should burn cooler.
