Sportsman 500 GEN IV Skid Plates ?
Does anyone have any pros / cons information in regards to Polaris Sportsman 500 Gen IV skid plates (poly vs aluminum)? I am in the market to buy some. I have heard the poly tend to crack but only under extreme conditions, but they slide / glide over things very easy. I also hear that the aluminum do not crack, but they are prone to dents and that they do not slide as well. Plus there is the difference in price. Aluminum being more expensive than poly. Any information or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. J
