Question replacement belt

I'm going to replace my drive belt. Was wondering your opinions on different brands (Polaris, Dayco, Carlisle) any insight would be helpful. Thanks

I personnally will only use polaris, if your belt breaks or fails your screwed or your stuck changing the belt in the field not what i want to do. so for the xtra money i buy the belt that was tested and developed for your ride.

Everything I have ever read on other forums is that the Polaris belt is the best and to not use anything else.

I work at a CARQUEST AUTO PARTS STORE our belts are manufactured by GATES. I have sold them for over 10 years never had a problem. Just make sure to use the correct part # because some people that work in a parts store work nightshift at a fast food resturant if you know what I mean. In our store we use customer satisfaction warranty policy. Not all stores are like that. Maybe this will help you. If you need more info let me know. Thanks

From my research the belt should be oem#321-1077 that cross references to a GATES#PL30071. Gates catalog does not list a belt for this atv but the oem# crossed over to a GATES# PL30071 price is $31.81 plus tax. We have it in stock. Thanks

I like the dayco and it's pretty reasonably priced. IMO, if I ever had to change a belt in the field, well that's just part the game. No belt is guaranteed not to break! Thanks for the input. I think I've made a decision.
