Here is a picture of a 6K HID light with the 35V ballast and factory lights. The HIDs are the only way to go!

those dont come in the plug and play for polaris do they??
i looked at the price and was pissed cause i just spent 135$ on a set from Hey! ATV Accessories are Here! but those are plug and play for 550/850 xp
so it was worth it to not cut the stock wiring

According to the individual I talked to there, they stated they were plug and play. Plus they have a lifetime warranty.

@Willie- hey brother, first thanks for the research done. Secondly, for the full set up I would want to order one single kit and one dual kit? Lastly, I saw that you guys said the 35W for the lowers due to heat generation, but how about the top assembly? 35W? 55W?

I wonder how they compare to Thors as far as install, etc.

@Mkeddie- how was the install of Thor's? You satisfied with them? Where do the ballasts hide? in the cargo box? left hanging? Thx.

That is correct, single for the POD and duals for the lower ones. I would stay with the 35s. The 55s are going to be brighter but hotter and could damage the assemblies.

for now i dont have the storage box so they are mounted under the rack till i get the box but it only took me about 15 20 mins for the lowers. the upper would have taken 10 min but i didnt do that yet as im waiting for the parts for the pod.(due to being broken)
also i wouldnt bother with 55watts they are more than bright enough with the 6k 35watts.
