Last time I looked Taiwan was part of China. I know it has been governed by the Republic of China since late 40's. Depends on what ITP tire apparently, some are made in Taiwan because I have a set of holeshots that say made in Taiwan. I thought they all were so my mistake.

Actually ITP tires are made right here in the USA in Carlisle plant in Minnesota. They come off the same line. I believe the ITP brand is owned by Carlisle.

yes ITP is part of the carlisle company. the country of origin is stamped on tires down near the bead. these days you never know where something may be made until we look i guess. many dont know that ITP makes the silverback and maxxis makes the outlaw and outlaw radial for highlifter.

Check out the Grim Reaper 8 ply tire. Great tread pattern and lots of good feedback from people if you do a google search. That is my next tire.

On my 500SP, I used to run Mudbugs and now ITP 589's. On the 850, I have a set of heavily-studded 589's for winter use and 27" Zillas for the rest of the year. Now with about 500 miles on the Zillas in a wide variety of conditions, I can honestly say they are about the best all-around tire for the area I ride. They seem to do reasonably well in the mud. They've endured alot of rocky terrain without getting cut up. They're excellent at crawling over wet, slippery logs and are awesome for high-speed, trail running with little to no over-steer or pushing in the corners. I'm thinking about buying a set of Outlaws or Silverbacks on a 2nd set of rims for the pure mud runs, but I'll definitely keep the Zillas for most of my riding.

I'd say Big Horns or the new Pit Bulls

I just got my reapers a week ago. They are great man. I went with the 27's and the traction is outstanding. Very smooth on the trail too due to that center lug right down the middle. Handles great in the mud as well. Cleans out quickly and is almost bulletproof with 8-plys.

Getting stuck is now a thing of the past!!!!
