Finally joined the Club

I have been looking for a deal on a sportsman for a couple years not and finally picked up a 2005 700 EFI. Now comes the fun part building it up.

Thanks everyone. Yes its very clean. Took off the belt cover and the clutch groves are completely worn off and the belt was pretty much completely smooth. Next step new clutch and belt. Does anyone rebuild or repair old clutches? Or do we just trash them and buy new ones? i found a New Comet 218875A, 103HPQ Drive Clutch for $319 has anyone used one of them? Anything to stay away from?

Not sure what grooves you are looking for. Ribs in the "valley" of the primary on the one way clutch bushing for EBS, but the sheaves should be smooth. I take it you were looking for cogs for the belt to grab or something?
