Sportsman problem...

Hello everyone...
I'm new here and I have a question about the Polaris Sportsman 800 2008 ..
When I came to motivate him in the morning (when cold) is shut down
and again he moves I give it gas and it stutters plague
He stutters even on the road
what should be checked?
Haa!! And he does backfire from the air box (air filter) and from the exhaust
Thank you!

Had the same issue with a 2002 400 sportsman last month. Each year I borrow a buddy's quad for a annual trip to the UP. It seamed to be running lean as adding choke didn't help. Drained the carb, increased idle slightly and I was back in business. I'm going to dig into this more this winter since I ended up buying it from him when I got back. Thinking bad gas, plugged fuel filter, fouled spark plug....
