Sportsman 500 no dash display no start.

2006 Sportsman 500. Would no dash display only the back light working have anything to do with me not being able to get a spark at the plug?.

Check your battery connections. I went to start my 2010 on Sunday morning only to have a initial crank and then nothing. No lights, no display, no crank. I thought I heard a pop from the back so I checked the battery connections. Sure enough the negative cable was a little loose. Tightened her up with a wrench and everything was back to normal.

I have all lights working ok. & i am trying to find a wiring diagram so i can trace back from the ign switch i guess.
