93 vs 96 pull start?
First off I am new the the forum, and loving it so far! My questions is: I have a '96 trailblazer and need to know if a pull start off of a '93 will bolt on to mine. Any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks

yes, it will fit. the recoil unit from the 93 is polaris part #3083924
it has been replaced by polaris part # 3085082 and 3085897

COOL, and thanks, I just won the e-bay auction for a pull start! I could not see spending 45 bucks on a new spring for mine when I could get the entire unit for 85 buck on e-bay. Now as long as it works great as the seller states, I will now have a pull start for backup!

Ok, got it put on, and it works, but now when I use electric start, the starter gear just spins. Any idea what is going on? I have removed it, and put it back on several times now. It sometimes works for a few minutes, but then the gear just spins. It looks to be in decent shape, so not sure why it is not catching?
