i have a 06 polaris trailblazer 250 2stroke when i first got it every now and then the shifter would pop out of drive and into neutral but never in reverse.but now when i put it in drive and give it gas it moves about 2 inches then pops into neutral but i can put it in reverse and drive it all day without it popping out i dont understand ive read on a few websites on google that it could be the shift fork how hard is it to get to the shift fork.and replace it.ive tried adjusting the linkage but no better no worse any ideas would be much apprieated thanks bubba

ive heard of people taking the trans apart to get the shift fork defintly would have to coem out and split apart which isnt a big deal on a polaris becouse its seperate from the engine ! ive also seen a guy grind down the edges of the gear the fork locks into they get rounded edges from ramming them into gear while idleing to high or having bad clutches and usually causes what your describing
