Im new check this out!!! :-)

Well Ive rode dirtbikes pretty much all my life, Im good at working on stuff and what not. Well one day I was at my Gf's house and her dad asked me to come look at this 400ex and help him get it running we tinked a little bit and nothing he said a friend of his was selling it for $800 its a 2000 400ex and in very good condition just ran like garbage. so I was like ok Im gonna buy this and make some profit so I picked it up the next day for $800 invested about $100 into and know i have a great bike well a couple days later the guy I bought it off of calls me saying he has a polaris 250 trailblazer at his house that hasnt been ran since 2009 and he doesnt know whats wrong with it. Ive never owned a fourwheeler much less a polaris. so he gives me this bike free and it looks to be in good shape just doesnt run well. I pulled all the plastics apart and cleaned the car bought some handle grips and replaced the sparkplug and here I am with a good running trailblazer :-) FREE!!!! well heres some things I cant figure out.
1 the clutch seems to be slipping not sure if the belt is bad or what.
2 the pullstart on the side doesnt retract back in.
3 while im driving it tends to kick itself into neutral. (really annoying)\
Anyways thats just a couple things I would like some input on. I must say tho I have had more fun on the 250 than my 400 sadly haha its a fun little mudding and trail bike.
In the future I would not mind doing some cheap mods to give it a little more low end power. (its a little slugish) anyways sorry for the novel just thought I would kick things off right and tell my story I am really excited about and try an figure this thing out.

odds ar the belt is glazed up throw a new one on, the recoil prob has some crap in it just tear it apart and clean it real good, and the thing going in neutral is probably just the linkage needs a little adjustment. good luck and welcome, some guys have all the luck
