89 Trail Boss 250 Float Height and Pilot Screw Turns

Hi guys...

Fixing up a 1989 Trail Boss for my farmer landlord...

You guys should see this thing...!!!...Its MINT..!!!!...I'll have to take a pic later,and show you guys...

He parked it years ago,as float was sticking,seeping gas out the overflow,and everytime he'd go to use it again,after filling it the last time,he'd get out in the fields,and it would run out of gas...LOL...

So got all the needed rebuild parts for the carb,but cant find the info for the float height,or the pilot screw turns out.Did a search,but all I could really find was to set the float parralel with the float gasket seat,but theres gotta be a service manual height to set it...anyone know it..??...and how many turns out on the pilot screw to start with..??

Its a 250 2 stroke...

Air screw 1 1/2 turns out from closed.
Float height is parallel to carb. surface, holding carb. upside down.
