the 2004 TB rear foot brake is hydraulic; it is in a seperate system though from hydraulic hand lever brake, so bleeding the front brakes is not applicable to the problem he is trying to fix.
I should have mentioned to trace the hydraulic hose from the foot brake to the rear caliper to ensure you are bleeding the correct one
