My Goal : The Best Trail Blazer

Hello , my name is Tiago , i am from Portugal.

I have a Polaris Trail Blazer 250 for 12 years now, and its been a great "ride" all this years. This was my first bike, I still remember when my father arrived at home and told me "son i am going to buy you an atv..." it was a great joy that moment, when 10 seconds later he told "but ... you need to work this summer, all days when you dont have school" lol

Its a great atv to start, when we dont have experience. Some people sold their first bike, but I couldn´t do it ... because it was my first and because it was my father gift.

So the time went by, i needed the atv to run faster, so i am passionate about engines, and i did some improvments to it ...

Right now, the atv doesnt run for 2 years, it was all dirty and rusty .. so I am going to refurbish all in my garage, and i am going to show all this process.

I have a Goal, to have the better Polaris Trail Blazer in the world lololol

The Specs right now:

Engine

Machined Flywheel
Wiseco Piston 74mm
Wiseco Rod
Cylinder Porting
Head Machining
Oil Pump Block-Off
Single Thr. Cable
Starter Block-Off Kit
Clutch Spring Kit
Heavy Duty Belt
K&N Air Filter
FMF Fatty Gold Series Exhaust

Other

Douglas Wheels Rims
Steel Brake Lines
OMNI Wheel Spacers
Yamaha Warrior Nerf-Bars
Renthal Handlebars
Acerbis Handguard

Lets start from the year 2000 , the year that she come home ...

The first things that i put in her, was the Acerbis Hand Protector and the Renthal Handlebars ... Then , i start noticing the lack of power, so I fitted the K&N air filter, clutch kit and a heavy duty belt.

My Polaris was well used in the first 4 or 5 years suffering enourmous abuses

I am not a easy user. My Blazer was always pushed to her limit in this 12 years.

Then in 2003 i think I had a problem, a piston "died". This was the first time that I open the Engine, and put a Wiseco piston

Those 250s are great. My older brother bought one and uses it for everything. Pulls a small trailer for moving wood around, puts chains on it and plows, ice screws for the winter/lake and trail rides it when we go out. Starts every time, peppy and can turn on a dime. If I ever decided to get a quad for friends to drive I would buy one in a second.

Lets continue.
I think it was 5 years ago, this became one of the best Trail Blazers in the world. I think I was one of the first having nerfbars and cutted plastics, in a Polaris of this Kind.

I had a bad luck with the autolube, so I took the oportunity to change to another bigger Wiseco Piston, Wiseco Rod, and other improvments...

I continue to push the TB to the max... for 1 or 2 years with this fullpower setup

I have a FMF Fatty Gold Series Exhaust too, and some Kenda Tyres and Douglas Rims.

My Polaris was doing more than 70 mph in a straight line with this Setup. It perfomes like a Scrambler 400 2T with a little bit more speed
