I'm sorry to hear you have tight nuts. Ok, seriously now, PB blaster or heat. Those are the 2 best ways to loosen anything

thanks redneck. working as a service and body shop manager in a ford dealer, i buy the boys all the pb and laser (oxy/acet torches) they need. it's our most popular line of offense against "tight nuts"...lol. but before i do that, i just wondered if somebody knew a trick other than that. a friend was trying to get it apart at his place and broke a pipe wrench on it. i threw the whole thing in my truck and will take it to the shop this week and get it apart by hook or crook. if anybody did this job before and knows a trick to it, please drop a reply.

I use a air chisel with a blunt bit to break the outside nut loose.
