00 Trail Blazer Steering
I have a 00 Blazer 250 and the steering seems very tight and rough. When i compare it to my 03 Trail Boss 330 it is tight almost to the point it sucks to ride it on trails with out going super slow, when I ride my Trail Boss I can turn it with out a problem and it seems super easy to turn compared to the Trail Blazer. I know that these two are almost the same thing and I was wondering if anyone out there has ANY ideas to help the steering become more comfortable.

I would start by jacking front up and check for any thing that may be tight. If it is not tight then check for toe in being correct. I rode my buddies 94 trailboss around the yard while it did seam to turn easier than my trailblazer it felt twitchy and tippy? Maybe what you have is normal.

I just picked up my first atv and it is a 2003 Polaris TailBlazer 250. The steering on it is hairy. I can only open it up half throttle on pavement as it seems to take off left and right at the slightest touch of the handle bars. It seems ok on the trails, but crap is it touchy on the road. My brother in law has a 350 and it does not seem to have the same issue. I just replaced the one lower ball joint and everything else appears really tight. Maybe too tight ?? So maybe these TB-250's are like that, not sure. Pretty freaky when you appraoch 50 Km/h and then the bike decides to do a sharp left turn into on coming traffic !!

1/4" toe out is usually max. could try greasing the upper and lower bushings, but the weird feeling may most likely be from the narrower handlebars
