2004 TrailBoss tranny ?

I am new here so first things first. hello to everyone !!

I just bought an 04 trailboss 330 and if I shift from N to H slowly it sounds like it grinds. if you do it alittle faster you dont hear any grind at all. It does the samething going into R. Is this normal ?

I have tried turning down the idle but that doesnt make any difference

Yeah thats normal. It might help a little if you play with the idle but its nothing to worry about. Just put it in gear a little faster.
