1998 Trailblazer with "clunk" flelt in foot rest

Have a 250 that seems to run and start well, but started hearing/feeling a clunk in the footrest while underway. It doesn't seem to effect the engine, shifting etc. Checked the belt and it as long as the clutch look good. Chain is tight, doesn't seem to be rubbing. Anyone have any idea what to check next?

It seems like the front chain sprocket may have a bit of side to side play in it. Anyone know if it is suposed to?

My trailblazer does the same thing. I think it's my swingarm being loose on clutch side. I tightened it, but it still does cause I think the swingarm bushings are bad.

Mine did the same thing and I just greased the swingarm and everything for that matter and the problem went away.
