Clutch kit on TB

So thinking about buying a pipe for the TB 250. I'm new to this bike but it looks like I need to install a clutch kit in order to add the pipe?? How hard is it to re-jet the stock carb? Also is it hard to install the clutch kit? I have done motor swaps on cars so I hope I can figure this out on my own. Any help on these two tasks would be great.

i dont understand how a clutch kit would have anything to do with adding a pipe, but both are good mods to do. clutch kits should easily be able to be installed by yourself, and if you are familiar with carbs, then they are not very hard to rejet either.

if you want a company that i know provides excellent customer service, check these guys out:

exhaust

clutching

there are many other good quality brands too

Thanx for the reply. I just thought it was required because I found this on the HPD site "An aggressive trail pipe with a full 7 to 8 INCREASE IN HORSEPOWER. Supplied with mounting hardware and jets. NOTE: Clutch kit required."

So your saying I can add the pipe & Exhaust to a stock 250 and not have to do any other mods to make it work? Or is a re-jet a must?

you will run lean with out a re jet so jetting is a must, and if your going to re jet i would put a uni or k and n air filter for a little more performance
