Vin # and oil question
Hi guys.
Brand new here!! I just bought a 250 TB. I found one # printed on the side of the frame. If I post the number, is there someone who can tell me more about the bike? Year, etc?
Also, what oil mix should I be using on this two stroke? 32-1, 50-1?

If the number is the correct full VIN#, i can run it in the polaris dealer database....
...dunno the actually the ratio for those machines, 32:1 will be safe. Im sure thats more oil the the pump would use, but at least you know its a safe happy number.

It is a 1988 Trail Boss 2x4. Its production date is 1/26/1988, and first purchased on 3/28/1988. The engine # should be 8802368, and the model # is W887527
|

I guess the guy I bought it from, lied to me. He said it was a mid-90's model. I had about 30 mins at his house to make a decision and make an offer. Guess when the price is right, you take what you get!
