VIN help???
I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I've done several searches and can't find anything. How do you find out if your machine has been stolen in the past? I recently purchased a 2001 Trailblazer 250 and I have the vin, for the most part, some of the numbers are very hard to decifer. They havn't been removed, just stamped pretty badly. Its 3 of the last 5 numbers.
Also, I have another 1996 and the vin is not there, but doesn't look like its been removed either?????
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

You would have to get a hold of your local DOL with a full vin# and they can run the VIN in their system to see if it has been stolen. Polaris doesnt keep track of all of that. All i could do for you is run your VIN in the polaris dealersite and tell you if the VIN is correct or not and what machine it belongs to. Your DOL will have the info on whether its been stolen before.
