What is an eton? A little weight 2x4 trailboss will not be very good for plowing any measurable snowfall.

This is what I found. Can I make it work? I have a winch attached.

Btw, I've plow my driveway all last winter with a 92 Suzuki 160 2wd w/ chains. No problems. I'm sure the trail boss will have no problem.

Where do you live? I'm in Minnesota and we can get a foot or more of wet snow in one shot. With my Sportsman 500 with a 50" plow there is no way in hell I could plow that in 2WD and that thing is probably about 1000lbs with rider and plow.

Sure can......

1) I'd tip the quad up on end, or lift up the front with a come-along with a garage rafter (or the like).

2) Find a spot in the center near or just in front of the foot pegs on the frame, that either a "U-bolt" or "Square U-bolt" can slip over.

3) Link up / center the push tube mounting bracket with these spots (u-bolts) and drill new holes in the mountign plate.

4) Assemble mounting plate to frame with U-bolts, hook up Plow and have a blast

If, No area for U'bolts over frame.....

5) Use the pictured small plates to "sanwhich" bracket to bottom of ATV via the skid/belly frame plates.

I found a Murray tractor plow set up on Craigslist for $40. Bought a harbor freight winch for $50. The back end of the plow push bar matched right up to my hitch on the back of the bike... My welding guy fashioned a mount on the front of the bike and a hook up on the plow to make it all good! Now just waitin for a good ole nor eastah to get here!

This is what I got. Works out pretty good too other than the fact I can't raise it as high as I want because of the up front clearance of the push tubes.

Looks good! Nice Work!!

Also looks like it mounted up about as I explained in my above post!

Should do the job nicely.

An idea to get more lift..... If you were to cut a small "V" wedge notch (3/8-1/2" wide at open end) out of the push tubes, but not all the way through the tube, just in front of the A-arms. Then bent together the cut openings and rewelded the tube together. Maybe braced on the inside between the tubes if needed. Doing this should buy you anothe 2-4" of "lift" for the blades ground clearance, but clearance under the machine will stay the same.

Hope that explanation is clear as mud!

Like the Glacier 3 Mid Mount push tubes.... like just behind the blade mount / swivel area in this picture....

But wouldn't the push tubes drag when the blade was lowered all the way down?
