Reverse not smooth

I have a 2011 550 Sportsman EPS and when put in reverse then given some gas there seems to be a slight delay and jumps into gear quickly, and only in reverse, is this an adjustment issue? clutch? It does it every time and it goes into gear easily

My 850 does the same thing, even when I ease on the throttle it will shift into gear and then clunk when I start to move. Think it is the clutch engaging but I don't like it.

We all seem to have this problem. its around 2200 RPMS before it engages but its something we all experience.

I think its just the play between all the gears and the syncro's, and the diff. Probably normal if its not excessive. Mine does something like that every so often.

My 850 also. A very delicate touch on the throttle when in reverse minimizes it. Forward is very smooth.

my 11' 850 does the same thing. Had a dealer look at it, he said he didn't find anything that warrented work. said he thought it would get better as the belt got glazed over more....that was with a little over 600miles on it. I dont like it and wanted to document with the dealer that i was concerned with it.
