2010 550 xp EPS

On my 2003 sportsman I had to press the foot brake to shift into Hi range. On the 2010 I can shift into any gear without pressing the foot brake. Is this a new change or is something wrong?

Well you should be at a complete stop and i still hold the Brake level when changing to low to high...alot of guys run high idles and grind gears when doing it....nothing new just Polaris perfected it....MUDDIE49
