Is anyone running a 3" with 2.5 rake lift on a 2012 850xp without issues

I keep reading about guys putting the Catvos or other 3" raked lift on the 2012 850s and the owners having issues with the diff locking up. After following up with the OP's via pm on other forums and they all took the lift off. Anyone having success with this setup on the 2012? If so what is the trick?

I'm a former brute owner and have been weighing my options between the Can-Am 1000Xt outlander and the Polaris 850XP.

Thanks,

Don't know about that lift kit but it seems most who lift the 850's go with after market axles too. The stock OEM axles don't like lift kits.

Yeah thanks I plan to run aftermarket axles. But the diff is what i'm worried about. All the guys with issues had them even with aftermarket axles.

On you-tube theres a guy called ostacruiser and he had a guy in there club that had a 850 xp lifted that ran the black mamba tires and had lots of diff problems. I think he said he put 3 diffs in with those tires on. Changed tires to 29.5 outlaws 2 I think and so far no problems. Ended up the black mambas are really heavey tires. Hope this helps.

I have a catvos 3" raked and 32" Sbacks on a 2012 xp. I bought 4 rhino axles at first and rode along a little at the end of winter and no problems. I then installed 4 spring spacers and took the bike out to the first rally and about the 3rd muddy/water hole one of my rear axles broke (cage) on upper cv, I thought maybe I hit a rock, then later in the day I started in a hole going about 2km/h and barely touching the throttle and the second rear axle broke same spot, I figure its to much angle, since then I took out spring spacers and installed two rear gorilla axles. And have no issues yet but I haven't been in mud with this set up yet.

The front diff. I've read numerous people saying it locks up with both rhino and stock axles. And they all ended up selling the lift.

The guy above you is the first I've heard that's had no issue.
