Polaris XP 850 LE black paint being cleaned?

I just purchased my 2013 xp LE and must say I love It.what a machine ,It is the flat black or ( stealth)color. I was wondering should you wax it or spray wax? Dealer says just soap and water but I feel like I should wax it. Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks nate

Not sure....

about waxing flat black. I believe I would wipe it with Armor All. Try it in an inconspicuous (perhaps under the rack) first and see if you like it.

NP, I saw a stealth black in person the other day and loved the look of it, never dawned on me that I couldn't wax it up like mine is right now. Good thread to start!

Once you seal it, are you then able to wax over it without it blotching and soaking into the paint? How many layers of sealant do you have to put on it?

Pics coming shortly and I think once its sealed you can spray this spray wax/cleaner made for matte black on it after that.

Just picked my new 2013 850 xp stealth last week and my dealer told me that after a good soapy bath, use pledge...yes I did say pledge?? He said it works great...I'm gonna try it after my first mud bath and I will follow up!
