2011 850 xp x2 w/eps
Is Polaris going to make an 850 xp x2 with dump bed and power steering in 2011?

They have not yet realesed any 2011 info that I am aware of.

Yes, they have already certified the 2011 850 X2 in California. It is on the list of 2011 850 models posted on the CARB website.

CARB = California Air Resorce Board. That is the fokes that certifies the emmissions of engines for sale in California. They can't sell them there if they are not certified. Quite often you will find out about new models prior to there official release dates by watching the CARB website for new certifications.

I'm Keeping my fingers crossed. Was disappointed when they only came out with the touring 850XP.

It will have the bed, since that is what makes it an X2, but as to what features it will have, like EPS, is still unknown untill Polaris makes there official debute of the new 2011 lineup in late July. I am told the dealer show will start 7/25/10 and run through 7/28/10. So somwhere durring that time Polaris should update there website to include all the details of there 2011 product line.

Me too buddy, me too. I went so far as to looking at the touring to see what would be involved into converting it into an X2.
There were a lot more chassis differences than what I had expected, making it a very dificult and ultra expensive proposition.
My contengency this time would be that since I already have a pair of 850s both with EPS, that should the new 850 X2 not have EPS, I plan to see what it would take to make a swap of the EPS syste, from one of my 850 EPS machines over to the X2, then sell off the newly converted non eps single seat machine and ending up with an 850 X2 EPS one way or another.LOL
