polaris sportsman 300 skid plates

Hi Guys,

I am thinking about buying the Ricohet skid plate set for my 850 and they told me that they stand up the ATV to installed it, has any one installed it without standing your ATV upright ? If so how difficult was it ?

When I connected them they where very nice but told me that they have never tried to installed it that way and didn't even think they want to try.

I installed mine ricochet plates without standing it up with no problems. took about an hour to do front and back. thats putting the polaris decals on too!!!

are you speaking of the entire undercarriage skid plate or just the a arm guards?

I see no reason why you would have to stand the machine up but I havent installed them before either.

Nice. Do they have a website? I have had no luck finding them on the web.

Thanks Guys,

I am going to purchased the complete set. The only other thing is if you want to put the cover on the skid plate to protect the oil filter you have to drill a couple of holes. Need to find out where the holes are drill into.
