Polaris would say different but I use full synthetic waterproof grease. It's green so I can see it coming out when pumping it into the zerks.

Once a year I do a full tear down and inspection of my quad to see if there are any potential problems. So far my first one last October went well no issues other than some rust on the steel under the foot wells and on the rear a arms. Sanded it down, primed it and hit it with some truck bed coating to make it a little more resilient. Will reinspect this coming fall.

i pressure wash it after every ride just to get the heavy mud off but i don't use soap and really clean it. I also spray wd 40 on the silencer after every ride which has kept it almost perfectly black rather than rusty. I've had the bike for a year and i only have a couple rust spots because i got lazy and didn't spray it right away.

Mine are pressue washed after every ride, I don't grease as often as I used to. Suspension bushings are a little loose but i'm ok with that. I ride through alot of creeks(crossing and washing off) and don't want to put grease into the water system. I have a couple surface rust spots where water likes to sit but just small stuff. More so worried about all the plastic I keep breaking loose..lol

OK EVERYONE. If you are washing your atv car boat, rv with anything besides LIQUID PERFORANCE CYCLE Wash you are making a mistake. I am not selling this stuff but believe me it gets mud/dirt off like nothing you have ever used

crimson850 sorry missed ur post about the creek riding
i mostly only get it about 3 6 inches over the wheel well
but the one day it was deeper than i thought
i took it all the way up to the bottom of the shifter and was sinking in so didnt bother looking if it got any lower was to worried about getting back out(was only a week old)

Oh no problem so you are saying you go completely above the tires?

Mkeddie is got it just right. I had mine in to the OH $@!? level as well. Stopped after the crossing just to check to make sure everything was ok. No problems at all doing that. I'm not going to push my luck too many times though.
