Question Need some quick help with a simple question

IM changing the oil on my 2010 550 xp before my first bug Hatfield McCoy trip tomorrow. Im in the middle of moving so my manual is in limbo. Basically I see the filter and a hexagonal bolt. I assume the bolt is the main drain and then do the flter. However I am having a hell of time getting that bolt out. Am I missing something here? Thanks guys.....

the bolt probably is the main drain, it should be pretty easy to figure out...it might just be very very tight.

Yes, they have gorillas putting the bolt on at the factory. I put a ratchet on mine and gave it a couple of quick, snappy hits and it loosened right up. Don't overtightened when replacing it.

I think there may be some mention of loctite in the manual. Maybe it's added at the factory. Could be why it's tricky to remove.

Sorry this is late but you guys are right. When it finally broke loose with a breaker bar it sounded like breaking a piece of glass. Very sharp quick precise breaking sound. Those are some damn tight tolerances....
