Goto "My Account" it is along the blue bar near the top of the page, click "Edit Options" down the lefthand column. Then scroll down until you see:
Default Thread Subscription Mode
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Default Thread Subscription Mode:
There will be a box there "DO NOT SUBSCRIBE" "NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION" etc. Just pick either one of these do, and you will no longer receive emails
