Say Hello to the new Cobra Front Bumper for the 550/850!
They are ready! Here is the first pictures of our all new Cobra series bumper for the Sportsman 550/850 2009-2012.

The all new ATV-Guru 550/850 Polaris XP front brush guard features 1 1/4" square tubing turned on the diamond, curved 7 Gauge thick main mounting plates and 7 Gauge thick end plates along with stylish 3/8" thick fangs that are the mid mounting point. It goes nicely with the current ATV-Guru Cobra rear bumper. It is strong and light, weighing 15 pounds 5 oz in base form, over 10 pounds lighter than the original Cobra and still attaches with 6 bolts.
The bottom area is gusseted and the brush guard requires no plastic removal or plastic trimming. It is compatible with any plow or winch without modifications. Will come powder coated black texture finish. Available without expanded metal, center expanded metal, full expanded metal

Looks very nice. I ordered an ATV Guru front bumper for my 2008 Sportsman 500 H.O. few days ago. I ordered the one with the mesh on the bottom to protect the rad.

Fangs are a different touch... I am eager to see one mounted on a machine with a winch.
Thor, do they fit across years 2009 - 2012, or is the 2009 different? I ask becasue I have an 09 and if I upgrade to a newer machine, I'd like to be able to move the bumper too.

The word I have received as of yesterday is no. They are way too time consuming to build & the rest of plates are all spoken for. They were what was causing all the back orders on our other products.

Yea, the old one was nice, but did look like it was a bear to build. I like the look, of the bumper but not a fan of the fangs. Wonder if I could order one with out the fangs? might make the fangs a option like the expanded metal?

Not a fan of the fangs, either. This is still the best looking bumper for the Xp's.
But, the original was an absolute work of art.
