Hey Denver, CO folks!
I am throwing another fishing lure out here. I have talked to a few of you before on my last Colorado thread, and will be getting back in contact with you guys, but I wanted get some feedback on this area.
What I am really looking at is the suburbs of Denver. Here is the deal.
I'm soon to be 24, and soon to graduate with my BA in what my school calls Interdisciplinary Design, I look to look at it more the spectrum of Product or Industrial Design. My goal is of course to get a job at a design firm in that area, or on a design team in this field.
Right off the bat, I am hoping to land a job that is at least a livable wage for my girlfriend and I as she goes to school. I have found a couple jobs that I qualify for that offer a livable wage. Anybody have any insights to some work?
Also have been looking at apartments. Any recommendations, either good or bad to check out or stay away from? I have had three landlords in my life, one I had to sue and won my case, another we had to threaten to sue to mutually agree to allow us to break our lease because our ceiling was literally falling in on us, and they wanted to paint and putty it. And our third landloard was a very nice lady. Had a very positive experience renting from her. Landlords now scare me.
I am a simple guy. I just want someone who takes pride in being a landloard and takes care of their property.
So anybody have any job or living tips. I am a non-drinker, non-partier, non-smoker, non-drug user. I just want a clean, quite place.
I am going to throw a small wrench in here. My girlfriend has a full grown 6 year old German Shepard. We are hoping to take him with us, but understand that if the places even allows dogs, he exceeds the weight limit or is not allowed by breed. We are hoping we find a place that will accept him, so he can live with us his last 6-8 years. He is big, but seriously one of the most docile and submissive dogs you will meet. Her dad is a perfessional dog trainer, so of course he is going to be well behaved.
Thanks all.
