Denver Area Job Help
So I got to ask....
.....anybody have any leads that could/would help me land a job. I just relocated to the Denver area, (Littleton to be exact). I know no one here, and that is proving to be difficult to get anyone to call me back.
I am putting resumes in everywhere. My ultimate goal is of course to land a career job in the industrial engineering/design field, but I have to pay the bills along the way too!
Bukaty has already helped me with a referral for an incrediable job opportunity, but it may take some time before I hear anything, if I even do.
I have put some resumes in for the parts counter at a few powersports dealerships, and can't even get them to hire....maybe I am not experienced enough?
So if anyone may be able to help a 24 year old just out of college with a bachlor degree that still has wet ink on it, please feel free to respond or PM me. I am honestly open to any opportunities.
(I won't say I am desperate yet, but I am definitely looking to network with people right now.)

Check out Lockheed Martians website. I think they had some openings in your area.

Thanks Action, lockheed is one of the companies I really want to get in with. A member here on the forums who works for lockheed in another state submitted my resume and cover letter for me with his referral. So, I am in lockheed's system for a couple different entry level positions down here in this area. Fingers crossed.

Got it. Thank you!
I seriously can't wait to get a job. I sleep on an air mattress, my dining room area is a $7 plastic lawn chair and T.V. dinner tray, which also becomes my computer desk.
I have a 20 year old TV, no cable, so if you want to watch a movie, you have to sit on the floor, or the plastic lawn chair, cause that is all I got.
At least I have a roof over my head though! Needless to say though, I am dying to work!

The lifestyle sounds quite Bohemian Kevin. Its so difficult these days. You used to be able to go into the employment office and inquire. If you showed up there several times they would get tired of looking at you and sign you on. Now its all done electronically and resume's read by a computer. I will continue to pull for you from the inside.
