800 wacky speedometer/stall

I'll try to post the video and explain, so when it's running and it runs good but the speedo either pegs or bounces around. Weird? Then when I shift to reverse it idles OK but as soon as I throttle up it stalls unless I'm pressing the yellow button. I tried but it won't let me attach the video.

It's either bad wires or the speed sensor on the tranny. I always chk battery voltage, machine off 12.5vdc'ish and running @3,000rpm 13.5-14.5vdc. If the wires are bad it would be most likely going into the pod. The sensor idk how to test it the dealer can with their Polaris scanner tool. Or just pop for a new one if all else fails.

The Hall/speed sensor at the right front strut is bad. Replace it and everything should work as designed. Bad wires won't act that way... the sensor is bad.
