Squealing noise on 850/1000

We are at Hatfield McCoy right now. Were from northern Michigan. We went on our 1st ride here today. After a bit of riding I noticed my machine was making a noise I had never heard before. When we stopped my wife said the same thing about her machine too. At idle it doesnít make it. As soon as you take off up until about 4500 rpm it makes it. Soon as you get over that rpm it stops. The machines run fine nothing wrong that we noticed. It just weird that both machines are making the same noise and neither have made it before? Is it something to do with being at a different elevation? Iím attaching a video so you can hear it.

That is belt noise, use low when moving slow, keeps the belt cooler, it is "normal" noise, get a few miles on and it may improve,

Itís the high pitched squeling noise. Itís most apparent toward the end of the video.

I donít think itís from being in the wrong gear. My machine has 20 hours on it so it should be broke in. Can you hear the actual noise Iím talking about? You canít hear it right away, more toward the end. Iím getting ready to head out for another day of riding Iíll update later about how it goes today.

Well I put on about 60 miles today. The noise was there all day. Low, high, 2 wheel, 4 wheel , uphill or down hill. As long as the machine is in gear and between 2500-4500 rpm. Iím heading back to Michigan tomorrow so Iíll see if it goes away once Home? On another note the Big Horns performed great at Hatfield McCoy. I would not want to have stock tires in this terrain!

Update once I got back home......The noise completely disappeared. Both machines stopped making that noise. I still donít know what it was but it must of had to do with being at a higher elevation is all I can think of??? Glad spring is finally here in northern Mi so I can get some more miles in.
