Wiring harness

That’s why I love this forum , way back I read about xp issues with the plastic plate chafing the wiring harnesses and low and behold my 2017 xp 1000 le is beginning to wear through the Harness casing , I’ll be trimming that back and taping up before it makes big problems!

I seen the same on my XP 1000, I also added a zip tie around the steering post to pull it away from the plastic.

thats good craftsmanship,
after watching ur video i though slicing a 3/4 inch radiator hose in half and sliding it over the harness could work too,

Yep, one of the FIRST things you should do on any of these machines when new. Go over it and look for potential problems BEFORE they become a problem. Got into my new machine to look it over and inspect everything within the first week of bringing it home. Found a couple coolant lines and wiring items that would be rubbing on stuff over time and covered them NOW rather than wait for them to become a problem later.
